Remembering the great Producer/Writer/ Musician, Trinidad born Keith Alexander aka Keith Diamond who would have been 70 today.
Apart from his own band (The Dip) he produced/wrote for Sinnamon (Thanks To You), Rafael Cameron, Anthony Franklin (Hot Number), Richard Jon Smith, Billy Ocean, Melba Moore, Starpoint, James Ingram, Jonathan Butler(Overflowing)and more. He truly was the master of his game!

Good Afternoon!
The one and only station with the music I love from 1978!!!
I've been playing soul and funk in polish disco and radio programmes, but...it was no popular at all.
Can I have a musical suggestion, please?
1. Gary Byrd feat. Stevie Wonder "The Crown"
2. Joe Bataan "Rap-o-Clap-o"
3. Bobby Thurston "You got what it takes"
4. M-Zee Band "Doctor Rhythm"
If it is possible, in full extended versions please!!!
Greetings from Poland

Listening to Charlie Rae - girl you know your music! Loving the boogie. Just like the old days of Greg Edwards, Mike Allen, the Radio Luxembourg import show, Robbie Vincent, Radio Invicta, the Lyceum, Beachcombers in Hackney - feelin old but good consent keep it coming like

Dance Groove Radio is my "Missing Music Link". Back than this music ran only in clubs that I was too young to visit, radio back than was only state run and playing "boring german stuff". I missed this music at its time. Later I always wished to get free access to an old DJs archives and dig in those old funk records. NOW HERE IS THIS DREAM COME TRUE. Just a few songs of this made me start going to newly started private radio in Germany and seeing a very successful 30+ year career in radio and nationwide TV. But my heart still is in this music and I find a new gem for my ears every day. Just spread Your variaty there is so much more to find and listen to. Thank You FUNK, Thank You very much DANCE GROOVE RADIO! Just go on, I´ll be here listening...

Hiya! New to this station and loving the jams. A great selection of popular and rare grooves. I think I'm hooked...
Although now stateside, I grew up in London listening to the likes of Discovating (Radio 1) and Soul Spectrum (Capital Radio) and of course all the pirate stations (now I'm showing my age).
Keep on jamming!
