It's a great station. I've been listening to it for a few years. It's exactly a kind of music I like funk, soul, R'n'B of the 80-s, especially dance, rhythmic R'n'B.
Your music sounds just like legendary WRKS FM (KIss FM) in NY in the 80s - the best music station in thew world that ever existed, or like WBLS from NY. Music is the same, but pity, you have no DJs on a regular basis, DJs who would just say "Now even more music and less talk" every now and then (Kiss FM slogan in the 80s), though it would perfectly fit your great format (more non-stop music and less talking). Today is a "Where were you when..." day I'm still in shock hearing of the passing of Prince RIP. I understand he was suffering from the flu and was taken to hospital. Legend, Genius, Icon, all words used so often these days. But whatever your opinion of him, Prince was surely all those and much much more. The creator of the "Minneapolis Sound" (check out "Soft & Wet", "Sexy Dancer" , "I Feel For You" "I Wanna Be Your Lover", "Let's Work" "Controversy", "DMSR" to name a few before Purple Rain hit big. He has left a vast musical legacy that will never be equalled. I saw him live 3 times in the late 80's,early 90's and 2000's, each time was completely different from the last. Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999...
